1. Job Purpose
To create high-quality, original, and engaging written content that attracts, informs, and converts our target audience of students and parents. You
will be responsible for producing well-researched articles, guides, and website content that reflects EduGate's expertise, adheres to SEO best
practices, and speaks directly to the aspirations and concerns of families seeking study abroad opportunities. Your words will build trust, drive
organic traffic, and ultimately help students achieve their educational dreams.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Content Creation & Writing (50%)
• Research, write, and publish high-quality articles, blog posts, and website content focused on studying abroad (destinations, universities,
programs, visas, student life).
• Produce content in both English and Arabicthat is clear, engaging, and tailored to the target audience (students and parents in the GCC
region).
• Ensure all content is 100% original, well-structured with proper introductions, headings, paragraphs, and where appropriate, tables and lists
for clarity.
• Apply correct punctuation, grammar, and stylistic consistency across all content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content ideas that address audience needs and support business goals.
B. Research & Accuracy (20%)
• Conduct thorough research using official, reliable sources (university websites, government ministries, educational authorities).
• Verify all facts, statistics, and requirements to ensure absolute accuracy.
• Stay updated on study abroad trends, admission requirements, and visa regulations for key destinations (especially Egypt).
• Build and maintain a personal knowledge base of reliable references for future content.
C. SEO & Performance (15%)
• Apply SEO best practices including natural keyword placement, optimized headings, meta descriptions, and image alt tags.
• Ensure content is optimized for search without compromising readability or natural flow.
• Collaborate with the SEO Specialist to align content with keyword strategy and performance goals.
D. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement (15%)
• Meet all daily and weekly content deadlines consistently.
• Receive feedback and revision requests positively and professionally.
• Implement revisions quickly and accurately to improve content quality.
• Participate in content planning meetings and contribute ideas for content improvement.
• Learn from performance data to refine writing style and approach.
3. Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, English Literature, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of proven content creation experience, preferably in the education sector, digital marketing agency, or
publishing. A strong portfolio of published articles is required.
• Language: Native or near-native proficiency in Arabicand professional fluency in English (written). Ability to write beautifully and
accurately in both languages is essential.
4. Technical & Professional Skills
• Exceptional command of Arabic and English grammar, punctuation, and stylistic conventions.
• Strong research skills and ability to identify and use official, credible sources.
• Proficiency in applying SEO principles to content creation (keyword research tools familiarity is a plus).
• Experience with CMS platforms(preferably WordPress).
• Familiarity with basic content formatting (headings, tables, bullet points) for digital readability.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Openness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement.
