Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To Perform the contracts & claims daily duties and responsibilities to ensure proper contract preparation, review and administration during the various stages of the construction process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the Contract Specialists and other related staff in the head office for guidance.

Perform risk analysis for the assigned project and submit reports for review.

Administer assigned contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

Perform post award activities including coordinating all contract submittals and correspondence, preparation and process variation orders and claims until project close out.

Ensure documentation to negotiate Variation orders are properly produced and maintained and highlight key figures accordingly.

Prepare letters to clients requesting approvals and interpretations necessary to comply with the provisions of the contract. Review and approve letters as required.

Identify the risks and notifications in the contract and highlight them to the direct supervisor.

Follow up on problems which demand management attention

Update records of all correspondence-related contract activity.

Verify accuracy of invoices, review invoices for payment and ensure approvals accordingly.

Handle sub-contracts, invoices, RFIs and various tasks & Contribute in preparing monthly reports. Participate in the preparation of claims.

Ensure all related records, documentation and adequate filing system are maintained.

Respond to related document requests and various enquiries on a daily basis.

Ensure that employee is working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, and fully aware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.

MINIMUN QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:

Education/ Qualifications: BSC Construction Management or Engineering (Arch./ Civil)

Professional Certification: Contracts Related Certificates (preferable)

Work Experience: 3-5 years experience in a related field

Language: Good command of English language

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
