JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
The Senior Coordinator – Operational Quality & Risk Management supports the effective implementation of Sanad's Operational Quality, Safety, and Risk Management systems. The role focuses on coordinating documentation, maintaining risk registers, assisting in investigations, tracking findings, and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
This position also provides administrative and analytical support to audits, surveillance, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping maintain the company's operational approvals and alignment with aviation regulatory standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Risk Management Coordination
- Maintain and update the operational risk register and ensure timely closure of mitigation actions.
- Coordinate risk review meetings, maintain records of discussions, and monitor assigned action items.
- Support analysis of risk trends, assist in preparing dashboards, and provide data inputs for management review.
2. Quality and Safety Support
- Assist in monitoring compliance with Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
- Support the implementation of safety and quality initiatives, including document updates, training coordination, and record management.
- Assist in maintaining the company's operational quality approvals by supporting audits and follow-up actions.
3. Investigation and Corrective Action Tracking
- Support the coordination of investigations into safety, quality, and risk-related events.
- Maintain investigation records, assist in documentation of root causes, and track the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Consolidate investigation reports and lessons learned for internal communication and management reporting.
4. Surveillance and Audit Coordination
- Assist in scheduling and conducting internal surveillance activities across operational areas.
- Record findings and ensure timely updates and closures in the relevant systems or databases.
- Support internal and external audits by organizing documentation, tracking findings, and coordinating departmental responses.
5. Reporting and Data Management
- Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and presentations related to risk, quality, and safety performance.
- Maintain digital records of QSMS documents, approvals, and audit evidence in accordance with document control procedures.
- Support data collation for management reviews and performance monitoring.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Participate in process improvement initiatives such as LEAN or Kaizen activities within the Quality & Safety function.
- Support awareness and communication initiatives promoting safety and risk culture across the organization.
7. Other Duties as Assigned
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Manager to support departmental or organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Minimum Qualifications:(Education/Certification/Licensure/Professional Membership)
- Diploma in Engineering, Aviation Management, Quality, Safety, or a related field. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Completion of recognized training or certification in Quality, Risk, or Safety Management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001/45001 Internal Auditor) is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Quality, Safety, or Risk Management in an aviation or MRO environment.
- Exposure to audit coordination, document control, or risk monitoring processes is preferred.
