Job Title: Senior Corporate Lawyer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to provide expert legal support on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advising the business, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, company law, and regulatory compliance
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring activities
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and stakeholders as required
- Advise senior management on legal risks and mitigation strategies
- Oversee corporate filings, licenses, and statutory requirements
- Support dispute resolution and litigation management when necessary
- Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations impacting the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); Master's degree or professional certification is a plus
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum 710 years of experience in corporate or commercial law
- Strong experience in contract drafting and negotiation
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills

- In-house legal experience
- Experience in multinational or corporate environments
- Exposure to M&A transactions and complex commercial agreements
