To coordinate the efficient and cost-effective implementation of corrosion management programs and to ensure the integrity of plant facilities including all onshore structures, pipelines, stationary equipment, piping systems, etc.
To conduct special studies and analyses in a specialized corrosion control field, such as cathodic protection, water treatment, chemical inhibition or materials selection.
Additionally, to provide specialized technical corrosion control services and consultation. He/she will be involved in creating and/or enhancing existing processes and developing and driving a consistent approach to equipment/pipework integrity.
Should have specific knowledge and experience of process operating systems corrosion risk assessment e.g. CO2/H2S corrosion related to hydrocarbon processing, Gas Dehydration, Gas Sweetening, CUI, Deadleg corrosion management, Anomaly Managements, Fitness-For-Purposes, Failure Analysis, Corrosion and Chemical Control Matrices, Corrosion Circuit assignment, etc.
