Job Title: Senior Cost Accountant
Location: 10th of Ramadan city
Workdays: Saturday to Thursday (from 8 am to 4 pm)
Reports To: Cost Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our cost team. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing manufacturing costs, supporting budgeting and forecasting, improving cost processes, and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cost analyses, including standard cost updates, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
- Maintain and improve cost accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities for cost accounting.
- Analyze manufacturing performance metrics, including labor efficiency, overhead absorption, and material usage.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to improve cost transparency and efficiency.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities; provide cost insights for financial planning.
- Identify opportunities to automate cost accounting processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency with ERP systems & Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
