Senior Cost Accountant

Job Description:

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial plans in coordination with senior management.
• Monitor budget performance across departments and projects, identify variances, and provide detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Support cost control initiatives to ensure spending aligns with approved budgets and company financial objectives.
• Ensure budgetary compliance with internal policies and financial controls.
• Prepare and present regular management reports on budget utilization, performance trends, and key financial insights.
• Work closely with accounting, procurement, and project teams to validate costs and improve budget accuracy.
• Participate in financial reviews and support decision-making through data-driven analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of budgeting processes, tools, and reporting standards

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (CPA, CMA is a plus.)

* Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a senior costing position.

* Exposure to international companies or experience dealing with foreign entities is highly preferred.

* Knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations and IFRS.

* Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
