Senior Cost Control Accountant

Reporting to: Cost Control Manager

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Cost Control Accountant to join our dynamic team and take ownership of monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing our cost structures. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding the company's financial health by driving cost efficiency, uncovering savings opportunities, and supporting data-driven decision-making. What will you be doing

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cost accounting function, including managing current cost rates, monthly closing activities, and variance analysis.
• Monitor production processes to ensure accurate calculation of product costs.
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity within the cost accounting function.
• Review standard costs versus actual costs to identify and address discrepancies.
• Analyze production variances and provide insights on deviations.
• Recommend cost-effective measures to support financial efficiency and operational improvements.
• Support the implementation of cost accounting systems and the establishment of internal controls.
• Calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) in alignment with inventory cost flow methods.
• Participate in monthly physical stocktaking activities for both the factory and retail stores.

What are we looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any related field
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in cost control within FMCG industry
• Hands-on experience in costing and stock control modules of ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and BOM
• Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
