- Preparation of cost budget, cost estimate, wastage report, mitigation, monthly cost reports, post contract cost control, Management dashboard, forecast analysis, risk management.
- Responsible for cost control over prelims, material, labor, equipment, etc.
- Responsible in monitoring and checking of cost control procedure implementation at store SIV/MRV/TV e.g. cost code, timely input etc. requisition follow up log, and consumption of major material items by maintaining proper log.
- Conduct productivity meetings at site to have a proper control over labor cost and allocations
- Responsible in monitoring and checking of cost control procedure implementation in labor & machinery timekeeping & other tracking reports
- Coordinating with the commercial team for the compilation of the Sub Contract Liability Report.
- Responsible for Work Package review including checking against cost code, budget, EV etc. Coordinate with the QS to finalize the approval proceedings.
- Supports in estimate review and budgeting including generating the project budget using Candy System and coordination, Sound knowledge of CCS (Candy) software.
- To coordinate daily with the site team for any issue related to the cost overrun in order to avoid the disputes related to labor and machinery allocation at site with respect to agreed budget
- Conduct cost analysis and case studies when required
- Responsible in providing a complete feedback to Estimation of over/underestimate & other cost analysis
- Supports in preparing Cost to Complete reports in coordination with PM of respective projects, assisting Director as and when required related to cost control work.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional), PMP, or RICS membership are highly desirable.
Minimum 1015 years of experience in cost control and project management within the engineering or construction sector.
Proven experience in managing cost control for large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects in the GCC.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent command of cost management software (e.g., Primavera P6, CostOS, SAP, or similar).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
