ABOUT THE JOB
We are currently seeking a highly skilled SeniorCost Control to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh.
This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Main descriptions of the job position:
- Managing all cost control matters, develop accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities with the goal of project completion within budgetary and financial objectives.
- Prepare and present accurate and comprehensive cost estimates reports, budget forecasts, and change proposals analysis to upper management and the Client.
- Analyze project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee the Application and Payments process to ensure accuracy and adherence to the contract.
- Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines managers to track and control project costs.
- Provide guidance and support to the client on cost control matters.
- Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Control processes, resulting in the delivery of the highest quality work to the client.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or Quantity Surveying discipline or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Formal qualifications/affiliations to RICS, IQS or CIOB.
- Applicable Experience: over 12 years in project and construction management, particularly in mega construction projects, mainly as a Consultant. Candidates with exclusive contractors experience will not be taken into consideration.
- At least experience in 1 or more projects of ROADS. Candidates without clear ROAD experience will not be taken into consideration.
- Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles.
- Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
- Willingness to work in a multinational firm.
Additional requirements:
- Transferable Iqama in case non-Saudi.
- Based in Riyadh.
- Valid SCE membership.
