Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Monitor on a daily basis Contractor progress including costs of materials delivered, materials installed, materials dredged, labor resources employed, equipment resources utilized and other statistical management.
- Verify the contractor's monthly request for payment derived from surveyed completed fill quantities.
- Development and provision of data and information to produce progress reporting and monthly schedule status.
- Assist as required the development of budgets and costs-at-completion.
- Accumulation of statistical progress and resource data on a daily basis.
- Provide Quantity estimates for progress payment purposes and update final quantity estimates based upon actual progress data.
- Variation analysis and estimates, and Analysis of costs of delay as required. Cost analysis of alternative means and methods as required.
- Provision of progress data for schedule purpos
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Civil/Arch Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of overall experience in construction projects, including 6 years in Cost Control.
- Strong Knowledge of cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and project financial reporting.
- Proficiency in cost control software (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, or similar tools).
- Solid understanding of contract management, change orders, and claims analysis.
- Ability to prepare accurate cost reports, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Very good English language skills, both written and spoken (is a must).
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or residential projects is preferred.
