We are seeking a Credit Analyst to assess consumer finance credit applications, evaluate financial risk, and make informed credit recommendations while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze credit applications for revolving & large-ticket consumer finance products.
- Ensuring meticulous attention to detail and strict compliance with Tru's credit policy.
- Evaluate applicants repayment capacity via in-depth review of financial statements, cash-flow projections, and credit bureau scores (i-Score).
- Conduct ad-hoc and structured profiling investigations.
- Recommend approval, rejection, or escalation of applications within your mandate, clearly documenting risk drivers and mitigants.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Credit, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in consumer lending, credit analysis, or financial risk management.
Technical Expertise
- Proficient in financial statement analysis, cash-flow modeling, and ratio interpretation.
- Hands-on familiarity with credit bureau platforms and proprietary scoring tools (e.g., i-Score).
- Solid understanding of credit principles and applicable regulatory frameworks.
Analytical & Communication Skills
