About the Job:

We are seeking a Senior Credit Cards Product & Portfolio Expert to lead the development, management, and optimization of our credit card products and portfolios. This role is critical in driving portfolio growth, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring profitability through data-driven strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail banking, cards, and payments, with a proven track record in product launches, customer lifecycle management, and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities:

· Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

o Lead and execute credit card strategies to drive spend, retention, and profitability.

o Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including proposition design, pricing, features, and benefits.

o Monitor and improve portfolio metrics such as activation, spend per card, attrition, and profitability.

o Optimize P&L by balancing interchange income, rewards, fees, and cost structures.

o Design and enhance loyalty and rewards programs to boost customer engagement.

· Digital & Customer Experience

o Drive digital-first initiatives across acquisition, servicing, and engagement journeys.

o Enhance mobile and online card management capabilities and enable fintech integrations.

o Leverage data analytics to personalize customer offers and campaigns.

· Project & Change Management

o Lead cross-functional projects, including product launches and system migrations.

o Ensure timely execution of initiatives with strong governance and stakeholder alignment.

· Partnerships & Business Development

o Manage relationships with card schemes and key partners.

o Develop merchant and ecosystem partnerships to enhance customer value.

· Leadership & Capability Building

o Act as a subject matter expert supporting leadership on cards strategy and execution.

o Mentor and develop internal teams to strengthen cards expertise.

Requirements:

· 12+ years of experience in cards/retail banking with strong product and portfolio management expertise.

· Strong product knowledge in credit cards is essential.

· Proven experience in product launches, CVP (Customer Value Proposition) development, and customer lifecycle management.

· Strong understanding of debit, credit, and prepaid card portfolios.

· Expertise in campaign execution, segmentation, and data-driven decision-making.

· Strong knowledge of cards profitability metrics and performance analytics.

· Experience in project management, stakeholder management, and regulatory compliance.

· Familiarity with market practices in banking and fluency in Arabic (mandatory).

· Bachelor's degree required.
