Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CuttingPlanner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and optimizing cutting processes within the garment sector. This role requires a detail-oriented, experienced in Cutting department professional with planning, analytical, and leadership skills to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our cutting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute cutting plans to meet production schedules and optimize material usage.
- Calculate and plan the capacity of the cutting section to align with production demands.
- Analyze and calculate material consumption to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Monitor and control fabric usage to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Calculate BTS data to evaluate production efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Adjust plans and schedules based on capacity constraints and demand fluctuations.
- Prepare regular reports on cutting performance, material consumption, and efficiency metrics.
- Work closely with the production, purchasing, and QA teams to coordinate cutting activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Cutting Planning Dep. within the garment & textile industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent understanding of cutting processes, material consumption, and capacity calculation.
- Experience with Build To Schedule (BTS).
- Excellent command in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
