Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

The Cyber Security OT Engineer is responsible for protecting Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Operational Technology (OT) environments from cyber threats. The role involves implementing, monitoring, and maintaining OT cybersecurity controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of industrial operations while supporting compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

OT Security Operation

• Monitor OT networks and industrial systems for cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
• Implement and maintain security controls across ICS, SCADA, DCS, PLC, and HMI environments
• Perform threat detection, incident response, and forensic investigations within OT environments
• Manage OT Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) integrations and monitoring tools

Risk Assessment & Compliance

• Conduct OT cybersecurity risk assessments and gap analyses
• Develop and implement remediation plans for identified security vulnerabilities
• Ensure compliance with OT security standards such as
• IEC 6244
• 3NIST Cybersecurity Framework

• 2ISO 2700
• 1ISA/IEC standard

Security Architecture & Engineering

• Design and implement secure network architectures for OT environments
• Support network segmentation and Zero Trust initiatives
• Configure and manage firewalls, industrial security appliances, IDS/IPS solutions, and remote access technologies
• Review and enhance security controls for OT assets and critical infrastructure systems

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3–7+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 2 years in OT/ICS environments
• Experience with industrial control systems and critical infrastructure environment
• Hands-on experience securing SCADA, DCS, PLC, and industrial network
