Summary
The Senior Cyber Security Presales Engineer is responsible for designing, positioning, and supporting advanced cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers. The role focuses on providing technical expertise, solution architecture, customer engagement, and supporting sales teams in delivering secure and scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and position cybersecurity solutions across network security, endpoint security, cloud security, IAM, and SOC technologies.
- Act as a technical advisor during customer meetings, workshops, presentations, and security assessments.
- Prepare solution architectures, technical proposals, scopes of work, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Ensure solutions align with customer requirements, compliance standards, and vendor best practices.
- Support complex opportunities and strategic accounts with advanced technical expertise.
- Participate in RFP, RFQ, and security tender responses.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Delivery teams to support business growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with cybersecurity vendors and technology partners.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and recommend new technologies and solutions.
- Support go-to-market initiatives and customer security roadmaps.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior engineers when needed.
- Support post-sales handover activities to ensure successful project implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity solutions, presales, or solution architecture roles.
- Experience in enterprise security environments and system integration companies.
- Strong experience supporting enterprise and government customers.
- Proven experience designing and presenting complex cybersecurity solutions.
- Experience conducting technical workshops and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Experience working with leading cybersecurity vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Security, Check Point, Microsoft Security, and CrowdStrike.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or vendor-specific certifications are preferred.
