Position Purpose:
You will play a crucial role in our customers data-driven decision-making process and provide valuable insights through advanced data analysis and visualization. Your expertise in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, DAX, data analysis, modeling, data cleansing, data profiling, query optimization, and data warehousing concepts will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Apply your expertise in mainly Power BI, Tableau or Microstrategy and other data visualization tools to create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate complex data insights to our customers.
- Utilize your strong SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and query complex data sets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform data cleansing and data profiling techniques to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring high-quality and reliable data for analysis and optimize SQL queries and database performance to enhance data retrieval.
- Perform data analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within large data sets, translating them into actionable recommendations for our customers.
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to understand their business requirements and develop tailored data analytics solutions that align with their goals.
- Work in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving project requirements and technologies.
- Continuously learn new technologies and tools related to data analytics and stay updated with industry trends.
- Aware of implementing data warehousing concepts and best practices to optimize data storage, retrieval, and accessibility for our customers.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Demonstrate proven experience in previous projects as a Senior Data Analytics Expert, showcasing your ability to deliver impactful data analytics solutions to customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Senior Data Analytics & BI Developer.
- Excellent visualization and dashboarding skills proven experience in Power BI with Advanced DAX hands-on, Tableau, Microstrategy or other BI Tools.
- Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating complex data sets using SQL in different types of database and data warehouses platforms.
- Extensive experience in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and other relevant analytical languages.
- Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical concepts, and data modeling principles.
- Good experience in data cleansing and profiling techniques to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets, identifying patterns, trends, and insights to drive decision-making for our customers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English languages, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving project requirements and technologies.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools related to data analytics and stay updated with industry trends.
