About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Solution Architect to lead enterprise data architecture initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing scalable data solutions across data warehouses, data lakes, and modern big data platforms.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling and has successfully implemented both Inmon and Kimball methodologies in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Implement business and IT data requirements across relational, dimensional, and NoSQL platforms.
- Define and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Oversee implementation of:
- RDBMS
- Operational Data Stores (ODS)
- Data Marts
- Data Lakes
- Design secure data architectures and interfaces to internal and external data sources.
- Optimize query performance and enhance system efficiency.
- Support reporting, analytics, visualization, and machine learning data environments.
- Identify and mitigate architecture and delivery risks.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility for authorized users.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders.
Required Expertise
- 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture / Data Modeling.
- Strong expertise in:
- Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling
- Inmon & Kimball methodologies
- Data Warehouse & Modern Data Lake architecture
- Hands-on experience with:
- RDBMS
- NoSQL databases
- Cloudera CDP
- ERWIN or similar data modeling tools
- Proven experience defining enterprise data architecture strategies.
- Strong performance tuning and optimization experience.
- Deep understanding of data governance and modeling best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills (technical & non-technical audiences).
