We are looking a Senior Data Architect for a 12-month extendable contract based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an urgent requirement, so preference will be given to candidates who are available to join on short notice.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and publish CIM artefacts, including domain models, canonical models, and semantic definitions.
- Analyze source systems to produce accurate and high-quality STTM mappings.
- Define, implement, and govern modelling standards across Erwin and Abacus.
- Document data architecture components, including data lineage, data flows, and integration diagrams within Abacus.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Governance, Data Engineering, Integration, Software Engineering, and business teams.
- Review solution and integration designs to ensure alignment with the CIM and overall data architecture standards.
- Produce architectural viewpoints aligned with TOGAF, BIAN, NDMO DAM, and SAMA ITGF frameworks.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or large-scale data modelling roles.
- Advanced expertise in data modelling and model optimization.
- Hands-on experience with data modelling tools such as Erwin (preferred) or PowerDesigner.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture practices, integration modelling, and architecture documentation.
- Experience with EA planning tools such as Abacus (preferred), BizzDesign, or LeanIX.
- Proven experience designing CIMs, canonical models, and domain-driven data architectures.
- Solid understanding and practical exposure to reference models such as BIAN BOM, FSDF, EDM, FIBO, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data platform architectures, including ODS, DWH, and lakehouse environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements, including AML, Finance, Risk, NDMO DAM, and SAMA ITGF.
