Role Summary:

• This role is mainly operational and support-oriented.
• Main tasks:
• Be the main point of contact for Snowflake users
• Support internal teams in:
• Daily Snowflake usage
• Development questions
• Testing new Snowflake features
• If capacity allows:
• Support Databricks users
• Support AWS data stack users
• Help teams migrate workloads between vendors (Snowflake ↔ Databricks / AWS)
• This role is more service-focused and cross-platform compared to the first one, which is more architecture and engineering heavy.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and build infrastructure automation at scale for 1000+ engineers through tools like Terraform and Helm
• Build and enhance fault-tolerant and highly available Kubernetes clusters
• Drive positive change in deployment frequency, lead time to change, change failure rate and mean time to restore metrics
• Consult and cooperate with engineers in developing and implementing best practices in the field of cloud infrastructure and software engineering

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Snowflake:
• Day-to-day operations
• Supporting users and developers
• Troubleshooting
• Experience with Databricks is a plus
• Experience with AWS data tooling is a plus:
• S3
• Spark on EMR
• Good communication skills (user-facing support role)
• Flexibility to switch between support and engineering tasks
