Senior Data Integration Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, SQL, and ETL processes, with strong experience in data modeling and data warehousing. This role requires hands-on technical skills, problem-solving ability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, reliable data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable and high-performance data pipelines.
• Implement and maintain ETL processes to handle large datasets efficiently.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Build and maintain accurate and accessible data models for analytics and reporting.
• Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assurance to maintain data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Continuously improve data infrastructure and adopt new technologies and best practices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with proven experience in writing efficient code.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and hands-on experience with tools such as IBM DataStage, Talend, or Informatica.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling, data vault).
• Experience optimizing data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must be willing to work 100% on-site with clients (Government, Telecom, Banking).
