The Data Science Engineer will work in Development to support data analysis, creation of reports & dashboards, communication and training for our key data science programs. This position involves end to end data science work from identifying questions & use cases, to conducting analyses, and also helping teams understand and use data for decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Development teams to identify business questions and translate them into data-driven analyses.
- Leverage Agentic AI workflows to analyze, clean, and transform raw data and produce reliable datasets for reporting and modeling.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI, MATLAB) to communicate key insights and business trends.
- Build statistical, machine learning, and NLP/LLM-based models to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data, understand user behavior, identify usage patterns, and answer business questions.
- Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and support product improvement actions.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
Additional Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and querying large datasets
- Experience programming in Python, R, or MATLAB
- Basic understanding of statistics, probability, machine learning, and metrics design
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Ability to communicate technical topics to diverse audiences
