We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to help strengthen our growing Data & Analytics team. This role will play a key part in improving our data infrastructure, maintaining high data quality, and delivering fast, actionable insights across teams. They'll also support product, business, and strategic decision-making through advanced analytics. Please note you must have experience working as a Data Scientist and this role is not for ML/AI engineers. Strong Data Scientist with SQL & Python experience.
Responsibilities
- Actively shaping how company uses data for strategic decisions
- Enhance data infrastructure and tooling for improved efficiency
- Support critical business units with ad-hoc analytics and insights
- Conduct deep-dive research and analysis to uncover actionable findings
- Improve data collection and analytics processes across teams
- Ensure dashboards provide clarity, usability, and real-time visibility
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in data science, data analytics, this role is not for an MI/AI engineer
- Proven track record of implementing data infrastructure improvements and optimisations
- Prior experience working with blockchain tools or DeFi data strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualisation tools
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipeline optimisation
- Understanding of statistical concepts and practical experience applying them
- Ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams
Nice to Have
- Crypto/Web3 analytical stack (Dune, Nodes, Flipside)
- Low level blockchain data understanding (traces, events)
- Experience in uncovering business-driving data insights
