Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects, encompassing problem definition, data exploration, model development, and solution deployment.
- Contribute to the design and development of scalable data science and AI-driven products and solutions.
- Uphold best practices in coding, ensuring maintainable, efficient, and well-documented code across all data science initiatives.
- Participate in and conduct code reviews to promote a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Mentor and support junior data scientists and analysts, actively contributing to their technical and professional development.
- Play a key role in managing the internship program, including supervising and developing interns to maximize their learning experience.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their business needs and deliver impactful, data-driven solutions tailored to their challenges.
- Continuously stay informed on emerging trends, tools, and advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Qualification
- 35 years of hands-on experience in data science roles.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; strong coding and querying skills.
- Solid understanding of machine learning and statistical methods.
- Strong grasp of data visualization concepts and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in mentoring others.
- Experience with data pipelining, wrangling, and common data engineering stacks.
- Strong data modeling skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand client needs.
