About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist to join a leading organization focused on leveraging advanced analytics and data-driven insights to optimize operations and support strategic decision-making.
Job Function:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced data analytics and machine learning models to support critical decision-making processes. Deliver predictive insights and operational improvements through data-driven solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into business workflows and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy advanced analytics and predictive models to support critical operational functions
- Extract and analyze complex data sets to deliver actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions
- Perform model evaluation, tuning, and deployment using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms
- Communicate analytical findings effectively to senior stakeholders
- Mentor junior data science team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline is required
- Master's or PhD degree in a related field is highly desirable
- 810 years of experience in data science and advanced analytics
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Scientist, AWS/Azure Data Certifications, or similar are a plus
Key Skills:
- Advanced data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling
- Proficient in Python and libraries such as scikit-learn, xgboost, prophet
- Strong SQL skills, preferably Oracle
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure ML
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
- Strong collaboration and mentoring skills
