Job Purpose:
To provide database administration support for all HBKU databases including but not limited to Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL and to ensure a reliable, always available, scalable, and high performance, and security for these databases at all times
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology related field from an Accredited College or University
- 6-8 years of academic and research application development experience
- Experience in installing, configuring, fine tuning, and managing Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL
- Expertise in developing, implementing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity operations for enterprise data bases
- Experience with Power BI, DataMart's, Data Lake is a plus
- AI Tools and Gen AI knowledge is a plus
- Experience with system design concepts
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit various written reports and communications and articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
