We are currently seeking an experienced
Senior Design Architect to join our team at our
Khobar Head Office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architectural design for large-scale developments, with strong technical expertise, advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows, and thorough knowledge of Saudi building regulations and international design standards.
- Lead the development of architectural concepts, schematic design, and design development packages.
- Produce creative and technically sound architectural solutions aligned with project briefs.
- Develop building massing, layouts, faade concepts, and spatial planning.
- Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings and Revit models for Design Development and IFC stages.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and specialist consultants to resolve design interfaces.
- Ensure designs comply with Saudi Building Code (SBC), local municipality approvals, Civil Defense requirements, accessibility standards, and fire/life safety regulations.
- Develop and manage Revit-based architectural models and maintain BIM deliverables according to project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Conduct internal design reviews and QA/QC checks to ensure drawing sets are complete, coordinated, and technically robust.
- Participate in design workshops, client presentations, and project coordination meetings.
- Support the project team in resolving technical and design-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 10+ years of professional architectural experience, with experience on large-scale or complex projects.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and strong knowledge of BIM workflows.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and related regulations.
- Excellent architectural design, spatial planning, and faade design skills.
- Experience in producing coordinated design packages and construction documentation.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
