The role is intended to protect design intent while managing consultants, submissions, approvals, stakeholder expectations and project information across demanding, leadership-facing workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the agreed project vision, design principles and quality expectations through consultant development and review.

Manage external consultants, specialist inputs, deliverables, review cycles, information requests and issue resolution across assigned projects.

Track design milestones, decisions, dependencies, risks and approvals so that leadership, internal teams and consultants remain aligned.

Review consultant submissions for planning logic, architectural quality, coordination, efficiency, brief compliance and commercial alignment.

Prepare concise updates, meeting notes, decision logs and review material for internal leadership and owning-entity stakeholders.

Understand the impact of design decisions on area schedules, feasibility, cost, constructability, operations and delivery risk.

Work with designers and coordinators to ensure project material is accurate, disciplined, current and suitable for review or issue.

Contribute to studio standards, templates, review methods and reporting structures that improve design management across the studio. Required Experience and Capability

10–15 years of experience in architecture, design management, development-side design roles or consultant coordination.

Specific experience on high-rise, luxury mixed-use, tower or supertall projects is required; Asia or international project exposure is beneficial.

Strong architectural judgement and the ability to assess planning efficiency, design quality, coordination gaps and consultant output quickly.

Experience managing multidisciplinary consultants through concept, schematic and later design stages.

Good working understanding of tower planning, podium / mixed-use interfaces, vertical transportation, façade coordination, back-of-house logic and consultant workflows.

Comfortable working with area schedules, design briefs, lead sheets, consultant programmes, submission trackers and stakeholder reporting.

Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to be clear, diplomatic and firm where required.

Personal Attributes

Structured, calm and reliable.

Able to manage detail without losing sight of design intent.

Commercially aware and comfortable operating between design, development and leadership requirements.

Confident managing consultants and internal expectations with discretion and maturity
