We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager – Design Management to lead complex, multidisciplinary design projects from concept through delivery. This role requires a strategic leader with strong project governance, stakeholder management, design oversight, and commercial acumen to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing project teams, overseeing design processes, driving financial performance, and fostering strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

Lead and manage large-scale design and development projects from initiation to completion.

Establish project strategies, governance frameworks, schedules, and delivery plans.

Ensure successful execution against project objectives, milestones, and quality standards.

Team & Resource Management

Lead multidisciplinary teams including design managers, consultants, and project specialists.

Plan, allocate, and forecast project resources effectively.

Drive collaboration and performance across project teams.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, consultants, contractors, and executive leadership.

Manage stakeholder expectations and project communications.

Financial & Commercial Management

Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

Monitor project profitability and commercial performance.

Ensure effective cost control and value engineering practices.

Risk & Change Management

Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Manage project changes, scope adjustments, and contractual implications.

Ensure compliance with governance and risk management standards.

Design Management

Oversee design development from concept through detailed design.

Review design deliverables for quality, compliance, and alignment with project objectives.

Coordinate design reviews and approvals with stakeholders.

Reporting & Governance

Prepare executive-level reports and project dashboards.

Monitor KPIs, project performance, risks, and resource utilization.

Present project updates to senior management and steering committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Design Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred
• Minimum 10+ years of experience managing complex design projects.
• Experience working with government, semi-government, real estate, infrastructure, architecture, or design organizations.
• Preferred Candidate Profile National (Emirati)Dubai Passport Holder preferred
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
