Job Description

We are seeking a motivated DevOps with a passion for implementing, supporting, and designing high-quality architecture. We extensively leverage the cloud, and the systems we operate are managed with a combination of technologies including Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, Docker, , Grafana, Loki, Python, Shell scripting, and other automation tools.

What You Must have for this Position.

• 6+ years of experience provisioning, operating and managing AWS environments and services such as EKS, ALB, EC2, VPC, Cloudfront, RDS, and security services.
• Support live production systems and excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
• Experience in networking/VPN as well as security.
• Automate end-to-end deployment and management process applying Infrastructure as Code and Immutable Infrastructure principles.
• Engineer and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Implement containerization strategies using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience in automation, configuration management, and testing via python, shell scripting and tools such as Ansible, Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) systems and methodologies on the AWS platform
• Experience with Logging and monitoring solutions like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, NewRelic,, Splunk
• Experience with Istio service mesh for advanced service discovery of microservices running in the cluster
• Strong experience working around microservice architecture and API knowledge is a nice plus
• Hands-on experience with at least one major CI tool such as Jenkins, GitLab or similar.
• Knowledge of hardware and software firewalls, intrusion detection methods, security systems, and DDoS protection.
• Strong system administration experience on the Linux platform.
• Fluent in modern software development practices and open source stacks.
• Expertise in database administration and management - MySQL, PostgreSQL, ScyllaDB, Clickhouse
• Hands-on experience with the Maven/Gradle build tool.
• Hands-on experience with Container Orchestration tool Kubernetes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 6+ years of experience into DevOps.
