About the Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to manage Linux servers, cloud services, and application architecture. If you enjoy designing scalable, secure, and high-availability systems, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu & Amazon Linux) and maintain OS baselines, patching, and vulnerability assessments
- Manage AWS & Azure services including EC2, RDS, S3, ECS, Lambda, VPC, Load Balancers, and more
- Design and implement networking and multi-cloud application architectures for high availability & fault tolerance
- Work with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, OpenShift, and AWS EKS/ECS
- Use CI/CD tools (GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
- Collaborate with developers on containerization, microservices, and MEAN stack applications
- Implement monitoring and observability platforms (Elastic Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, New Relic)
- Optimize cloud costs, support migrations from on-premises to cloud, and maintain robust security practices
Required Skills
- Strong Linux server administration skills
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS & Azure)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, Go)
- Experience with container orchestration and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and Git workflows
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching technologies
