Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Dubai for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and automating infrastructure, improving system reliability, deploying scalable solutions, and facilitating continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Additional tasks include optimizing system performance, monitoring infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure

• Design and maintain robust CI CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

• Ensure monitoring, logging, and observability across environments

• Enforce cloud security best practices and compliance standards

• Lead incident response and root cause analysis

• Collaborate with development teams to improve release workflows and operational efficiency

• Manage networking components including load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and VPNs

• Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure and processes

• Support client IT alignment and technical governance when required

Required Experience

• 5 to 10 years experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles

• Strong hands on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud

• Deep understanding of CI CD architecture and pipeline design

• Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Strong scripting capability in Python, Bash, or similar

• Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security principles

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Major Advantage

• Strong hands on experience with Alibaba Cloud

• Experience delivering projects within Saudi Arabia or GCC environments

• Experience working under regional compliance and data residency requirements

• Prior exposure to high traffic public event platforms or interactive systems
