Job Description

A multinational Company is looking for The Senior Digital Asset Manager role who is responsible for leading the strategy, governance, and optimisation of the global Digital Asset Management (DAM) ecosystem. The role ensures all digital assets are well-structured, easily accessible, and aligned with brand standards, enabling efficient creation, sharing, and reuse of content across global markets.

Acting as the central authority for DAM, the role defines and maintains best practices, taxonomy, and workflows to improve consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all brand and communications materials.

The role works closely with Group Communications, regional communications, marketing teams, and external partners to ensure assets are effectively organised, discoverable, and fully utilised.

Through continuous improvement of DAM processes, the role enhances the organisation and scalability of global brand assets, strengthens brand governance, and supports more agile and effective marketing and communication efforts.

DAM Ownership & Governance

  • Own and lead the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform (Brandspace), including system structure, user access, integrations, and overall performance
  • Translate brand and content requirements into scalable DAM frameworks that ensure consistency, usability, and long-term sustainability

Asset Planning & Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee the full asset lifecycle, including ingestion, version control, approvals, archiving, and deletion, ensuring accuracy and relevance at all times
  • Define and maintain taxonomy, metadata standards, and naming conventions to enable efficient search, reuse, and compliance
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure asset quality, consistency, and alignment across regions and business units

Platform Management & Optimisation

  • Lead the administration, optimisation, and continuous improvement of the DAM platform to ensure high performance, usability, and adoption
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to manage integrations with CMS, creative tools, and other marketing technologies, as well as system upgrades and enhancements

Stakeholder Management & Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for DAM-related queries, issues, and enhancement requests across global head office, regional teams, and business functions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective asset collation, usage, and governance

Team Coordination & Operational Delivery

  • Coordinate across Brand and Creative Studio teams to support efficient, on-brand asset management within the DAM
  • Align resources, workflows, and priorities to meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor DAM usage, performance metrics, and user engagement to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Identify and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction, and overall content operations and asset value

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Management, Digital Media, or a related field. o 6–8 years experience in digital asset management, content operations, or a related role within a global brand, marketing, or agency environment.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing DAM platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience developing taxonomy, metadata frameworks, and asset governance models.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams and managing digital content at scale across multiple channels and regions.
