As the Senior Director of Human Resources, you will drive strategic workforce planning and operational excellence for a market-leading Energy and Oil & Gas corporation across the MENA region. You will oversee end-to-end HR transformation, talent management, and employee relations for a large, complex workforce while aligning human capital initiatives with overarching business objectives.
Job Responsibilities will include:
- Align regional HR strategies with corporate energy sector growth objectives across the GCC market.
- Lead end-to-end operational HR management for a large-scale workforce comprising technical, field, and executive personnel.
- Spearhead nationalization programs (including Emiratization) in full compliance with local labor laws and GCC regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee talent acquisition, executive search, and critical succession planning strategies to support ongoing business expansion.
- Design and execute performance management systems, total rewards strategies, and competitive compensation structures tailored to the oil & gas sector.
- Drive organizational development, culture transformation, and employee engagement initiatives across diverse operational units.
- Manage employee relations, industrial safety compliance HR standards, labor disputes, and workplace policy enforcement.
- Partner with C-suite executives and business leaders to implement digital HR transformations and advanced workforce analytics.
Key Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (SHRM-SCP or SPHRi certification strongly preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5+ years leading HR operations in the Energy or Oil & Gas sector within the GCC region.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-national workforces (both blue-collar and white-collar) and executing nationalization initiatives.
- Strategic business acumen combined with strong operational execution, expert knowledge of UAE/GCC labor laws, and fluent English communication (Arabic fluency is a distinct advantage).
