Job Summary: The role will lead and manage P&L, operations, and business growth for trucking fleets and lead teams, win new business, improve network safety, and ensure high on-time delivery rates across the GCC network
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Accountability
- Grow revenue and gross margin for the road freight division.
- Build pricing models and bid strategies for new customer contracts.
- Secure new business and keep key client accounts happy.
- Work with sales teams to pitch integrated 3PL solutions.
Operations Accountability
- Oversee daily truckload (TL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) transport performance.
- Track metrics like on-time delivery, cost per mile, and asset utilization.
- Manage carrier relationships, partner networks, and subcontractor rates.
- Drive continuous improvement in transit times and route planning.
Team Leadership
- Lead operations managers, dispatchers, and sales account leads.
- Set clear performance goals and run regular team reviews.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff to build a strong workplace culture.
- Ensure all drivers and staff follow health, safety, and labor laws.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 8+ years in logistics or 3PL, with 4+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong budget management, contract negotiation, and data analysis.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of road freight markets, Hours of Service (HOS) rules, and TMS technology.
