About the Role
NAGA Architects, Engineers, Designers & Planners is seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, delivery, and coordination of dry utility infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables while supporting the successful execution of ongoing developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of Dry Utility Networks, including:
- Medium Voltage (MV)
- Low Voltage (LV)
- Street Lighting (SL)
- Telecommunications (TEL)
- Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, BIM models, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with company standards, client requirements, and applicable engineering codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of dry utility designs within infrastructure projects.
- Review design deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support their professional development.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project planning, design reviews, and client coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, engineering best practices, and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in the design and delivery of Dry Utility Infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in the design of MV, LV, Street Lighting, and Telecommunications (TEL) networks.
- Familiarity with UAE, KSA, international engineering standards and best practices.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM software (Revit is an advantage).
- Proficiency in using ETAP & DIALux evo and the other specialized software.
- Strong knowledge of dry utility infrastructure design principles and engineering standards.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work within project deadlines.
