Operate and monitor the DP system during offshore activities.
Assist with maintenance of all firefighting and lifesaving equipment as directed by Chief Officer.
Conducting safety induction tours for new joining personnel if required.
Assist Master in emergency situations. Identify and respond to DP alarms, failures, and emergency situations.
Assist Master in implementing the Company's policies and Safety Management System
In port vessel assist Ship Security Officer with vessel security arrangements.
Acts as a member of the emergency team as dictated by the Muster List.
Ensure compliance with international regulations, company procedures, and client requirements.
Monitor weather, sea conditions, traffic, and operational risks.
Mentor and develop Junior DP Officers and DPOs.
Assist the Master with planning and executing offshore operations.
Promote a strong safety culture onboard.
Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
HSSE:
To stop any person from performing an unsafe act.
Reinforce and strengthen the HSE culture at every opportunity in operations and projects.
Promote correct HSE behaviours through personal example. Take action upon any health, safety and environmental matter brought to their notice, and report to their Manager on any matter which they are unable to rectify
Ensure that the workforce under their control are adequately trained, competent and authorized for the operations which they are required to perform and kept informed of all relevant information to ensure their health and safety. Carry out appropriate induction training.
Maintain awareness Sub-Contractor activities, interfaces and the associated risks.
Certification:
CoC as per STCW Regulation II/1
Flag state certificate of equivalent competency (if applicable).
DP Certified (unlimited).
Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
Training & certification in accordance with the TOL Training Matrices.
