Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Electrical BIM Engineer for a full-time, on-site position at our Qesm El Maadi location. The role involves developing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) for electrical systems, creating and updating construction drawings, and coordinating Electrical designs with other disciplines such as Mechanical, Plumbing, and Civil Engineering. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with industry standards, optimizing project workflows, and collaborating closely with the project team to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the ability to oversee BIM execution plans and processes.
- Strong expertise in developing and analyzing Construction Drawings, with a focus on detailed electrical design documentation.
- Knowledge and experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including coordination with other disciplines such as Civil Engineering and Architecture.
- Familiarity with Architecture and Civil Engineering fundamentals, particularly in relation to electrical system integration.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, is required. Professional certifications related to BIM or MEP are an advantage.
- Experience in project management or similar senior roles in electrical engineering is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
