Senior Electrical & Communication Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electrical & Communication Engineer with 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical and telecommunications infrastructure design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) networks from 4-core to 144-core.
• Prepare FOC splicing schedules, connectivity diagrams and port allocation designs.
• Perform bandwidth, capacity, load and voltage-drop calculations.
• Design electrical networks, power-feeding arrangements and Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs).
• Design and review Etisalat and du telecommunications infrastructure.
• Coordinate with Etisalat, du and other stakeholders for technical requirements, submissions and approvals.
• Coordinate with FOC and Electrical teams to ensure proper technical integration.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to FOC CAD Technicians.
• Review NoC submissions and ensure compliance with technical requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in FOC/telecommunications infrastructure and electrical network design.
• Hands-on experience with FOC splicing, connectivity, bandwidth/capacity calculations and port allocation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, including SLDs, load schedules and voltage-drop calculations.
• Experience with Etisalat and/or du infrastructure and approvals is highly preferred.
• Strong technical coordination, design-review and team-supervision skills.
