ASEC Automation is Hiring – Senior LV Technical Design Engineer

Location: Cairo, Maadi

We are looking for a Senior LV Technical Design Engineer to join our Engineering Team, with strong experience in LV Switchgear & Power Distribution Systems.

• Develop and review complete LV design packages, including calculations, drawings, technical documentation, and BOMs.
• Perform ETAP calculations including Load Flow, Voltage Drop, and Short Circuit.
• Prepare and review SLDs, schematics, cable schedules, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Design MDB, SMDB, MCC, and Control Panels.
• Work on TTA Panels, including Schneider PRISMA L & M.
• Select and size ACB, MCCB, ATS, capacitor banks, busbars, and motor control components.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Civil, Cable Routing, and Light Current teams.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, project requirements, and client specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering – Electrical Power & Machines.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in LV Technical Design.
• Strong knowledge of:
• LV Switchgear & Power Distribution
• MDB / SMDB / MCC / Control Panels
• ACB / MCCB / ATS
• Capacitor Banks & Power Factor Correction
• DOL / Star-Delta / Soft Starters / VSDs
• Motor Control & Automation
• Busbar Sizing
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, and ETAP.
• Strong ability to read and prepare electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with Schneider PRISMA L & M is highly preferred.
