Position :Senior Dry Utilities Design Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer (Infrastructure - Utilities)
Work Location : Abu Dhabi office
Work schedule: 5 days / week
Job Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing the design of infrastructure ( Dry and Wet Utilities)
- Prepares engineering reports , such as Concept Design Report, Preliminary Design reports, Design Calculations etc.
- Conducts design checks of completed electrical designs and calculations.
- Preparing and reviewing the design of underground cabling, Substations, telecom infrastructure duct routing etc.
- Ensuring all calculations are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Authority Standards and Codes of Practice as per the project location and requirements.
- Coordination and day-to-day coaching to junior staff within this discipline.
- Coordinating and giving technical guidance to CAD Technicians / BIM Technicians to produce drawings and models.
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports, design drawings, and other deliverables.
- Coordinating with other disciplines to achieve a fully integrated design.
- Liaising with the Client and Authority representatives to obtain design approvals, as necessary.
- Providing discipline's input for technical proposals for submission to external parties.
Educational Credentials:
- Proven experience in the infrastructure electric design.
- Experience with Dialux, ETAP, SINCAL software and other power systems software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in software such as Autodesk AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge in BIM and AutoCAD Civil 3D is an advantage.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
