Job Summary

NAGA is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer with 8–14 years of experience and strong expertise in the design of Low Voltage (LV) and Low Current (LC) electrical systems for commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, and industrial developments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical designs from concept through detailed design while ensuring compliance with international standards and UAE and KSA authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design

• Design and develop complete electrical systems for building projects.
• Prepare Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, Tender, and IFC drawings.
• Design Low Voltage (LV) and Low Current (LC) electrical distribution systems.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, and power calculations.
• Coordinate electrical designs with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and ELV disciplines.
• Design HV substations and transformer arrangements.

Electrical Calculations

Perform and review electrical calculations including:

• Electrical load calculations
• Voltage drops calculations
• Short circuit analysis
• Cable sizing
• Protective device coordination
• Earthing calculations
• Lightning protection calculations
• Harmonic analysis
• Power factor correction
• Generator sizing
• Transformer sizing

BIM/Revit

• Develop and coordinate electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare coordinated BIM models (LOD 300–400).
• Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 8 - 14 years of experience in electrical design consultancy.
• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.

• Autodesk Revit , Navisworks (Mandatory)

• Dialux Evo
• ETAP (preferred)
• Microsoft Office
