Role Description The Senior Electrical Design French Speaker is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm 2nd 6 October. This role is responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing electrical systems and components for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations. The position involves preparing detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations, as well as coordinating with project managers, mechanical and process engineers, and suppliers to ensure design integrity. The Senior Electrical Design French Speaker will participate in technical meetings, provide guidance to junior engineers, and communicate with French-speaking stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve design issues. The role also includes supporting installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in electrical design for industrial facilities, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read, create, and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and technical specifications.
- Fluency in French and English, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with electrical design software and CAD tools, as well as standard office productivity applications.
- Solid understanding of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations in industrial environments.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary engineering teams and working directly with clients and suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Several years of progressive experience in electrical design, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Qesm 2nd 6 October and adapt to a dynamic, project-driven environment.
