What you'll be doing

Leading electrical design delivery across multiple projects from concept through detailed design

Preparing specifications, drawings, and contract documentation aligned with client and regulatory requirements

Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and statutory regulations

Coordinating with mechanical, public health, and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions

Supporting budget development and cost planning aligned with client specifications

Liaising directly with clients, design teams, and stakeholders

Managing scope changes in line with change control procedures and maintaining cost and programme awareness

Supporting junior engineers and contributing technically across the wider team

You will operate with a high degree of ownership and technical accountability, while contributing to a collaborative and supportive engineering culture.

What we're looking for

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (BSc/BEng or equivalent)

Experience in MEP electrical design across a range of building types

Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks

Proficiency in industry software such as AutoCAD and recognised electrical design tools

Working knowledge of MS Office

Membership (or working toward membership) of a recognised professional body such as CIBSE or IET

A proactive engineer who takes ownership and supports team delivery

Health, Safety, and Professional Standards

Experience in a Data Centre is preferred

All engineers are expected to maintain high standards of health and safety awareness, complete mandatory compliance training, and actively contribute to a safe working environment.
