Job Description

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineers for a newly awarded large-scale project in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, Support, and supervise the electrical technical team to achieve specified targets effectively and allocate work to them properly, with strong technical management.
  • Guide the preparation of design the detailed engineering work.
  • Responsible for quality review to ensure the high quality and approval of engineering deliverables as per applicable specifications, codes and standards, client/consultant, and authority requirements (e.g. ADDC, DEWA, DCD, ADCD, FEWA, SEWA), and compliance with the appropriate procedures and workflow.
  • Technical Review& Audit, Supervision on behalf of head office to the assigned projects to identify, highlight, and solve technical issues with strong sense of responsibility and project management.
  • Monitor and Review BIM models
  • Study and review the Tender/IFC drawings/specification and raise RFI, if required.
  • Electrical Design, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of all electrical services
  • Expert in Electrical calculations-load calculation, breaker sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop ( cable and bus bar), capacitor bank sizing, Lux level calculation and other related.
  • Technical Review of Method Statement for electrical services as requested.
  • Technical Review of Material Submittal for electrical services as requested.
  • Knowledge in DM Green building requirements.
  • Provide technical support for site, procurement, commercial and other departments.
  • Ensure the preparation and review of technical solutions, which fully comply with all applicable design/client requirements, with design standards, codes of practice and good engineering principles to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with other authorities/disciplines.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of engineers.
  • Inspect and audit the installation work on site when required.
  • Coordinate professionally with main contractor, specialist/suppliers, client and consultant on behalf of electrical lead, with perfect communication and management skills.
  • Support technical manager to improve the work quality and efficiency of the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor&aposs in Electrical Engineering
  • 10 Years&apos of relevant work experience in managing projects with a particular focus on Hotel & Resorts developments.
