We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at , a leading construction company with over 500 employees. The ideal candidate will be a key player in designing electrical systems for a diverse range of construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to lead electrical design efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers, ultimately contributing to the successful execution of projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Conduct technical analyses to ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians in best practices and design principles.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure electrical installations meet design specifications.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and simulation tools.
- Proven experience in leading projects from concept through completion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
