Senior Electrical Engineer

Job requirements:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems for the Fadhili Gas Plant Project. This role requires extensive experience in oil & gas projects, strong technical expertise, and compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES) to ensure safe and reliable power distribution and electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Certifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in oil & gas or industrial projects.
  • Proven experience with Saudi Aramco projects and standards.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of power systems, protection schemes, and hazardous area classifications.
  • Familiarity with SCADA, DCS, and electrical integration with telecom and instrumentation systems.
• Design & Engineering:
  • Develop detailed electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and protection systems.
  • Ensure compliance with SAES, SEC, and international electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
• Project Execution:
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and control panels.
  • Conduct FAT, SAT, and performance testing for electrical systems.
