We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the engineering phase of an onshore oil & gas project. The role will focus on electrical design, engineering deliverables, and technical coordination, with mandatory onshore oil & gas project experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables for offshore facilities
- Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load lists, cable schedules, and equipment layouts
- Perform electrical calculations including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, and cable sizing
- Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment
- Review vendor documents and provide technical clarifications
- Interface with other disciplines to ensure design integration
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, offshore standards, and applicable international codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC)
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID / HAZOP / model reviews as required
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 58 years of Oil & Gas experience
- Mandatory onshore project engineering experience
- Strong experience in FEED / Detailed Engineering / Design phases
- Proficiency in electrical engineering tools (ETAP, EDSA, or equivalent preferred)
- Knowledge of onshore electrical systems including LV/MV distribution and hazardous area classification
- Ability to work independently and meet tight engineering schedules
