As a
Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible to provide technical input support and guidance on a nuclear project, having direct interface with the Customer and within Worley team.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Reviews and evaluates technical documentation, engineering studies, commissioning and Operation and Maintenance documentation related to electrical engineering discipline.
- Assesses system performance, design compliance, and integration across disciplines within the electrical engineering discipline.
- Contributes to and evaluates testing, commissioning, and Operation and Maintenance documentation for electrical systems.
- Supports construction activities to ensure electrical systems are compliant with design specifications, codes, and quality standards.
- Ensures all electrical-related technical changes follow established requirements, processes, and procedures.
- Prepares and reviews correspondence, statements, and technical reports related to electrical systems.
- Develops training materials and delivers training sessions specific to electrical systems design, operation, and engineering principles.
- Provides technical input and coordination support to project participants.
- Participates in safety and hazard assessments for electrical processes and systems
Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree beneficial) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong technical skills; 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering on large scale projects.
- Experience in commissioning nuclear power plants is required.
- Knowledge of European and Russian nuclear electrical codes is a plus.
- Knowledge in the following Electrical engineering areas:
- Power generation plants, Electrical substations.
- Electrical systems automation and Relay protections.
- Electrical power supply and electrical equipment.
- Installation and Testing of electrical equipment.
- Commissioning of electrical equipment of NPP.
Special Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate, influence and persuade.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian is a plus.
- Prudent use of confidential information.
- Organized and disciplined, capability to plan and schedule tasks and events.
- Ability to work and interact with multidiscipline teams.
