The project:

This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands-on Construction Management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub-contract packages.

Mace is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of major Infrastructure and MEP systems across a complex, large-scale remote programme.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Accountable for MEP delivery against time, cost, quality and safety outcomes.
  • Leads high-performing teams, ensuring compliance, governance and best practice standards.
  • Builds strong client, consultant and contractor relationships across project lifecycle.
  • Oversee full MEP lifecycle, including programme, HSW, quality, commissioning and project close-out.
  • Leads and manages design and monitors specialist and sub-contractor design resource.
  • Drives project close-out, risk mitigation, performance improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Managing multiple LDCs, Stakeholders, Sub-Contractors and specialists related to the mechanical engineering systems.
  • Collaborates with the project management office (PMO) teams ensuring coordinated deliverables.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Min 12 years expertise in Mechanical, Chilled Water, District Cooling, HVAC, Smoke extract & Control and SCADA, BMS and CCMS systems.
  • Strong technical expertise across electrical, mechanical, public health, and integrated systems (BMS, SCADA, FLS, etc.).
  • Proven capability in design management, commissioning and full project lifecycle delivery.
  • Membership of a relevant body such as CIOB, ASHRAE, CIBSE, IET, APM or equivalent demonstrable professional development.
  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced understanding of programme planning, sequencing and critical path management.
